توفر رابطة كليات المجتمع الليبية  لبعض المؤسسات التعليمية المتميزة في ليبيا الفرصة بأن تصبح كلية مجتمع ليبية بشرط أن تتقيد بلوائح رابطة كليات المجتمع الليبية بالخصوص. وتعتبر كليات المجتمع الليبية مورد حاسم وحرج بالنسبة لمستقبل ليبيا. حيث أنها توفر سهولة تحصل أفراد المجتمع على أفضل تعليم عملي في مناطقهم وبدون الحاجة إلى اللجوء إلى العاصمة أو المدن الكبيرة في ليبيا. كذلك تجيب هذه الكليات على مشكلة التكلفة العالية لليبيا وللحكومة للحصول على تعليم وتعلم عملي على المستوى العالمي، حيث يضطر الطالب لذلك إلى السفر وتحمل التكاليف الباهظة في الكليات والجامعات العالمية خارج ليبيا. وحتى ترتقي ليبيا بمستوى القوى العاملة والموارد البشرية إلى المستوى العالمي لكي تستطيع تنمية إقتصادها ومواكبة الاقتصاد العالمي، تم تحديد كليات المجتمع الليبية من قبل رجال الأعمال والمؤسسات الخيرية، وقادة السياسة على أنها مفتاح زيادة أعداد المتعلمين الليبيين الإجمالية في العقد المقبل، فكليات المجتمع الليبية، عند إكتمال عددها في أنحاء ليبيا، ستنتج أكثر من 100 ألف متخرج سنوياً على مدى العشرة سنوات القادمة وهذا تقريباً سيكون سدس عدد سكان ليبيا تقريباً.

فوائد العضوية في رابطة كليات المجتمع الليبية

·       المناصرة والدعم والإعتماد: رابطة كليات المجتمع الليبية هي الصوت الوطني الخاص بهذه الكليات فهي تدعمها وتناصرها وتدافع عن حقوقها ومكانتها بين المؤسسات والكيانات التعليمية محلياً وعالمياً وتعتمدها وتسعى إلى إعتماد مناهجها. وتقوم الرابطة بإنشاء علاقات فعالة في الوزارات ومؤسسات وكيانات القطاع العام والخاص الرئيسية ومع الشركات البارزة ووسائل الإعلام الرئيسية. ومن خلال تلك العلاقات يتم تسليط الضوء على كليات المجتمع الليبية لزيادة الوعي بها وبقيمتها الإجتماعية والإقتصادية والوطنية وتقاتل من أجل توفير الموارد والبرامج الهامة والداعمة لهذه الكليات ولطلابها. أما داخل معظم مجتمع التعليم العالي تتحدث الرابطة عن كليات المجتمع الليبية لتنشر الوعي بها وتعزز مصالحها.

·       التحقق من إعتماد الكلية: مستقبلاً،  لن تبيع الرابطة قائمتها الألكترونية التي تحتوي أسماء ومعلومات التواصل بكافة كليات المجتمع الليبية الأعضاء في الرابطة إلى أي منظمات أخرى. ولكن في نفس الوقت يستطيع أي طالب أو أي مؤسسة من خلال موقع الرابطة إستخدام الباحث الألكتروني للتأكد هل كلية معينة في ليبيا عضوة في رابطة كليات المجتمع الليبية أم لا وذلك بإضافة إسم الكلية في خانة مخصصة لذلك والضغط عى زر البحث الخاص بذلك.

·       تطوير القيادات:  يعتبر القادة الأقوياء والمستـنيرين ضرورة حتمية لنجاح كليات المجتمع الليبية. كل عام، ستقدم الرابطة مجموعة واسعة من فرص التنمية أو التطوير المهني لإعداد، وإعلام ، وفرص للربط بين أو للتواصل بين قادة كليات المجتمع الليبية. وذلك سواء من خلال مؤتمر الرابطة الذي سيتم إنعقاده سنوياً ليجمع بين هؤلاء القادة في مكان واحد بالإضافة إلى دعوة قادة من كليات المجتمع العالمية الناجحة والمتفوقة لإثراء المؤتمر، أو من خلال دورات إعداد القادة الصيفية المركزة التي ستوفرها الرابطة لأعضائها أو من خلال أكاديمية قادة المستقبل لكليات المجتمع الليبية. فالرابطة ستعمل بجد للحفاظ على كادر قوي من القادة في كليات المجتمع اللييبة عبر جميع مناطق ليبيا.

The ALCC provides some of the outstanding education faculties in Libya the opportunity to become Libyan Community Colleges on the condition that they comply with the regulations of the ALCC set for the Libyan Community Colleges.  The Libyan Community Colleges are a crucial and critical resource for the future of Libya. As they provide the ease to the community members to get the best practical education in their areas and without the need to resort to the capital city of Tripoli or to other large cities in Libya. Also, these colleges answer the problem of the high cost to Libyan and to government of providing practical education and learning at the global level to its citizens, where students have to travel and be able to afford the high costs of joining international colleges and universities outside Libya. In order to develop Libya's economy and manpower to the global level, the Libyan Community Colleges have been identified by businessmen, charities and policy makers as the key to increasing the number of Libyan learners and capable workers in the next decade. Once the target number of Libyan Community Colleges set by the ALCC is achieved in Libya, these colleges will produce more than 100 thousand graduates annually over the next ten years and this will almost be one sixth of the population of Libya.

·       Advocacy, Support and Accreditation: The Association of Libyan Community Colleges is the national voice of these colleges. It supports advocates and defends its rights and status among educational institutions and entities locally and internationally and accredits these colleges and seeks to accredit its curricula locally and internationally. The Association establishes effective relationships in ministries, key public and private sector institutions and entities, and with prominent companies and major media. ·       Verification of Accreditation: In the future, the Association will not sell its electronic list containing names and contact information of all Libyan Community Colleges that are members of the Association to any other organizations. But at the same time any student or any institution, through the website of the Association, can use the search function to ascertain whether a certain college in Libya is a member of the Association of Libyan Community Colleges or not by just adding the name of the college in a dedicated search box and pressing the search button for that.

·       Leadership Development: Strong and enlightened leaders are an imperative for the success of the Libyan Community Colleges. Each year, the Association will offer a wide range of self-development or professional development opportunities, as well as opportunities to prepare, inform, link and communicate with other leaders of the Libyan Community Colleges. Both through the annual conference of the Association to bring together these leaders in one place, in addition to inviting leaders from the world's leading and successful community colleges to enrich the conference, or through the intensive summer leadership training courses that will be provided by the Association to its members or through its “Libyan Community Colleges Future Leaders' Academy”.
